It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Myrtleen Ruth Jones (Heath) on Friday April 26, 2024, at Carleton Manor in Woodstock at the age of 88.

Myrtleen was born on August 4, 1935, in Sherman Mills, Maine to the late Ivory Brown and Ruth (Ingalls) Heath

She is survived by her children, Esther (Timothy) Meisel, Deborah (Donald) Wilkinson, David (Cheri), Jones, Grandchildren, Robert, Elisabeth, David, Sarah, Rebekah, Nicholas, Joanna, Lydia, and Brittany,  23 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces, and Nephews.

Besides her parents, Myrtleen was predeceased by her husband Melvin Jones in 2019.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2024, at the Carleton Funeral Home in Jacksonville from 5 to 8PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024, from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 1PM.

Interment will follow at the Lindsay Cemetery. Reception will be held following interment at the Lindsay Baptist Church.
