It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Myrna Irene (Morrison) on Monday January 15, 2024, at The Carleton Manor in Woodstock at the age of 89.

Myrna was born on February 2, 1934, in Temperance Vale, NB, to the late William and Nina (MacFarlane) Morrison.

Myrna was predeceased by her parents, both husbands, Harrison Black, and James Houle, son in law Brent Collier, sisters, Joyce, Edith, Violet, Avis and Olah.

Myrna is survived by her son Bill Black, daughter Lori Collier, grandchildren Sarah (Kyle) Brown and Jessie Brewer, great grand children Bailie Brown, Brody Brown, Adalee White and Austin White, Sisters Ruth, Nina, Brothers, Alton, Peter and Robert, Niece Carol Targett and great nephew David Targett.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and all the staff at Carleton Manor for the exceptional care and support for Myrna.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 19, 2024 from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 5 to 8 PM.

A double service will be held from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday January 20th at 2PM , to lay to rest both Myrna , as well as her late husband Jim, as family was unable to have a service for him  due to COVID.
