Murle Eugene Wright

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Murle Eugene Wright of Limestone NB on Saturday August 1, 2026, at the Upper River Valey Hospital in Waterville at the age of 83.

Murle was born on September 11, 1942, in Hartin Settlement to the late Joel and Pearl (Nicholson) Wright.

Murle is survived by his wife Avis (Grant) Wright, daughter, Fay Wright, sons, Frank (Donna) Wright, Floyd Wright and Eric Wright, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, brothers, Richard Wright, Oras (Beverly) Wright, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides his parents, Murle was predeceased by a stepson Randy Cronkhite and sister-in-law Ola Wright.

Murle was a hard worker and he loved working outside, he did a little farming, worked in the woods with his horses that he loved, and he also worked at some of the local sawmills around.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 6 to 7 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 8, 2026, at 1PM at the McKenzie Corner Baptist Cemetery.
