It is with much sadness that we announce that Muriel Ella (McBride) McLellan passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock at the age of 97. Muriel was born on April 4, 1924, to the late Cecil and Alice (Hannigan) McBride in Woodstock. Muriel is survived by her daughter Lois Ann Haggerty, Grandchildren Bruce Haggerty (Nicki Larrabee), Nancy Haggerty (Jere Humphrey), Great Grandchildren Desiree (Mickey Savage), Justin Haggerty, Jillian Haggerty, Great-Great grandchildren Cooper and Beckham Savage and special niece Susan Habold and family. Besides her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her husband Basil McLellan and son in law David Haggerty. There will be no Public Visitation or Funeral Service at this time. There will be a graveside service in the spring from the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB If so desired the family has requested donations to Carleton Manor in memory of Muriel.
