Milford Earl Carmichael, 96, of Good Corner NB passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Central Carleton Nursing Home Hartland NB. Milford was born in Simonds NB on September 9, 1920 son of the late Ellis and May (Holmes) Carmichael.

Milford is survived by children; Leon Carmichael, Valerie Phillips (Dave), John Carmichael (Doreen), Nila Carmichael; grandchildren, Paul (Mandy), Chad, Troy, and Earl (Lyndsey) Carmichael of Alberta, Adam (Michelle) and Andrew (Jessie) Phillips of Fredericton, NB, eleven great grandchildren, sisters, Violet Farnham, Ardith Wolsey (Don), brother, Paul Carmichael, sisters-in-law, Muriel Arsenault, Shirley Dunphy, several  nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, Milford was predeceased by his wife, Nellie (Antworth) Carmichael, grandson, Chris Carmichael, brothers, Floyd and George, sisters, Thelma Antworth, Anna Sprague and Audrey Black.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from the Carleton Home Chapel at 1 PM. Interment will be held in the Good Corner Cemetery at a later date.
