It is with broken hearts and much sadness, that we announce the passing of Michelle Lorrie MacManus (Hatch) of Woodstock, after a short illness, on Thursday July 28, 2022, at the age of 64. Michelle was born on June 5, 1958, daughter of Lloyd and Thelma Hatch in Waterville Maine. She is survived by her husband, Leonard MacManus, her Mother Thelma Hubbard, her children Lorrie Gibbs of Sebec, Maine and Lisa Dudley of Unity, Maine. Michelle took so much joy in her grand children Mickena, Skylar, Tanyon (Gibbs), Ella and Branson (Dudley). Michelle was predeceased by her father Lloyd and stepfather, John Hubbard. Michelle was kind and gentle with a heart of gold. She will be missed by her extended family and many friends. While living in Maine, she worked at Thelma's Haven of Rest, assisted living home in Unity, Maine. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for at Mars Hill Nursing Home. Upon moving to Canada, Michelle worked for several daycares in Saint John, Florenceville, and Woodstock, NB. Michelle was very proud to become a Canadian citizen in August 2021 while retaining her American citizenship. Michelle had a passion for the New England Patriots and loved to spend vacations near the ocean at Old Orchard Beach, Hampton Beach, or Chance Harbour. She especially enjoyed her time with her children and grandchildren. We would like to thank the nurses of the Oncology Department of the Upper River Valley Hospital, Dr. LePage, and Extra-Mural for their help and support during this time. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at the Village Cemetery in St. Albans, Maine at a later date. If so desired, donations can be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group in memory of Michelle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB
