Micheline Cecile
Fletcher
October 31, 1958 – March 27, 2025
It is with broken hearts and much sadness that we announce the death of Micheline Cecile (Lagacy) Fletcher of Hayes Settlement at the Upper River Valey Hospital in Waterville after a courageous 10-month battle with cancer.
Micheline was born in Grand Falls NB on October 31, 1958, to the Roland and Lucille (Levesque) Lagacy.
She is survived by her husband David, her son Jamie Fletcher, her daughters Jennifer (Andrew) Billings, Janice (Steven) Clark. Grandchildren, Santino, Savanna, Isabelle, Camden, Natayah. Brother, Maurice (Donna) Lagacy, Sister Rachel (Roger) Finnie, followed by many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. She is predeceased by her Parents Roland & Lucille Lagacy.
Micheline was a beloved wife, mother, nana, and friend. She was a beacon of love and laughter, always greeting the world with a warm smile and a playful joke.
Micheline dedicated her life to her family, taking great pride in her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter, lovingly known as the "Sports Nana," never missing a game or event. Her selflessness and dedication to her family were evident in everything she did, always putting their needs before her own.
She had the most beautiful gardens and was a very hard worker. Her ability to find joy in the simple things and her zest for life made every gathering a celebration, and she was always up for a good time, bringing laughter and warmth to every occasion.
We celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support. She taught us the importance of family, the joy of laughter, and the beauty of selflessness. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 2, 2025, at the Meductic Baptist Church from 12 until 2PM.
Funeral Service will follow at 2PM at the church and interment at a later dater in the Upper Meductic Cemetery.
If so desired, donations can be made to URVH oncology Dept or River Valley Cancer Support Group would be appreciated by the family.
