On April 7, 2005 Mervin Cecil Shaw of the Carleton Manor and formally of Brookville NB passed away at the age of 87. Born in Centerville NB he was the son of the late Hanford and Casey (Simonson) Shaw. Mervin is survived by his Daughter Deborah Beckwith (Rex) Knox ford NB, Brother Ray (Margarett) Lakeville NB, Sister Frances Walters, London Ont, Five grandchildren: Susan, Mike, Holly, Nancy, and Justin, Two great grandchildren Lauren Hunter and Logan Hunter, Daughter-in-law Evelyn Shaw, Millville NB, several cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Mervin was predeceased by a son Berry. The family received relatives and friends at Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Friday April 8, 2005 from 7 to 9. Funeral service for Mervin Shaw was held on Saturday April 9, 2005 at 3 PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Carvell Cemetery Upper Bloomfield NB. As of expression of sympathy donations may be made to a memorial of donor's choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home Jacksonville.
