It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Merle Andrew Hickey age 71, of Temperance Vale NB at the Upper River Hospital on December 31, 2021.

Merle was born on September 29, 1950 in Woodstock NB to the late Donald and Geraldine (MacFarlane) Hickey.

Merle is survived by his wife Diane (Lappage) Hickey, Children Glenn, Harry, Scott (Ally), Keith (Robyn) and Jesse. Grandchildren Hazel, Hera, Haley, Hannah, Autumn, Charlotte, Bentley, Maci, Addy and Isabella, Great Grand Daughter Flora, Sisters Louise and Muriel, Brother Arnold( Charlotte), also several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides his parents, Merle was also predeceased by a brother Ronald and also two Brother in Laws.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 7, 2022 at the Sure Life Assembly Church 335 Otis Drive Nackawic NB from 1 -2PM, Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2PM. the Livestream of the service will be on Carleton Funeral Homes Facebook page beginning at 2PM at the following link (2) Carleton Funeral Home and Crematorium | Facebook

Interment will be held in the spring at Temperance Vale Cemetery.

If lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
