He is survived by his partner Natalie and son, Hunter. Four daughters, Patti (Mike), Paula (Geoff), Wanda (Kevin), and Angie. He has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He always enjoyed it when his granddaughter, Holly, would visit.
He is survived by his siblings Evelyn Hogan, Marcus (Viola), Gary (Barbara), Carolyn Greer, Kelli (Timothy) Lawson, and Shelli (Jack) Hansen. His sisters-in-law Muriel, Ruth and Barbara. Several nieces and nephews whom he loved to tease.
Meredith was predeceased by his infant son, Meredith and wife Norma, his parents Perley and Ella (Tapley), his brothers Alton (Muriel), Archie (Ruth) and Malcom (Barbara) and brothers-in-law Francis Hogan (Evelyn) and Philip Greer (Carolyn).
Meredith spent his working career working in the woods with his team of horses and then eventually upgraded to a skidder before retiring. He always said you never had a good cup of tea until you had one on an open fire. He loved his family and friends especially Hunter. He loved working on the potato harvest. You could also see him at the community breakfasts.
He also enjoyed stopping at McDonalds to chat with his friends.
He loved his Hartfield Church family. He also loved to tease and hear a good joke. He had a special love for all animals. He loved to farm and share his farm knowledge with Hunter. For many years you could find him caring for his animals at his hobby farm. He owned and loved his many Percheron horses, pony, Bud, pigs, cows, chickens, rabbits, and his cat, October. One of his favorite places to go with Hunter was to the sale barn. You would never know what they bid on until it arrived in the barn.
He loved going for drives in his Dodge truck and always took time to enjoy the scenery. He never said no to Hunter even if it meant riding on several fast rides at the Frex.
