Melvin Dana Jones, 84, of Hartford NB passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Melvin was born in Vermont USA on October 27, 1934 son of the late Dana and Ella Jones.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Myrtleen Jones, daughters, Deborah Wilkinson (Donald), Esther Meisel (Timothy), son, David Jones (Cheri), nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, sisters, Corimne Goodel, Clara Bradley, brother, Leon Jones, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, Melvin was predeceased by a sister, Alice, brothers, Arthur, Robert and Roscoe.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2 PM from The Belleville Baptist Church. Interment will be held in the Lindsay Cemetery at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Belleville Baptist Church, Lindsay Cemetery Fund or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
