Melanie Holmes, 95, of Bath, NB passed away on June 27, 2009 at The River View Manor, Bath, NB. Melanie was born in Tracadie, NB on July 9, 1913. Melanie is survived by her sons; Reginald (Fernande) Richard, Montreal, Quebec, Frank Richard, Juniper, NB, daughter, Lottie Lavoie, Montreal, Quebec, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Melanie was predeceased by her parents, Frank and DeLina Godin, 1st husband, Frank Richard, 2nd husband, William Holmes, sons; Lawrence, Alexander, daughters; Louise, Rena and Dorothy. Melanie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church Juniper, NB on Monday, June 29th from 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 30th at 11:00 AM from St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Fulton officiating.
