Watson
January 11, 1934 – August 28, 2023
The passing of Mary Marguerite (Love) Watson, loving and devoted wife of the late Alden Watson, occurred at the Carleton Manor on Monday August 28, 2023.
Born January 11, 1934, in Hay Settlement, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Marguerite (Craig) Love.
Truly the matriarch of her family, Mary was loved by everyone she knew. She shared a love of nature and had a passion for bird watching. Mary was devoted to her faith and was a dedicated member of St. Luke's Anglican Church.
She is survived by her children; Danny (Sandra) Love, Bonita (William) Carter, Allison (Regina) Watson and Ernest (Arlene) Watson. She is also remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to Alden and her parents, Mary is predeceased by her brother John Jr and sisters Elsie and Kathleen.
Arrangements entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road (506)-328-8430. Mary will be resting at the funeral home on Thursday August 31st, between the hours of 6:00-7:30 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday Sept 1st at 2PM. at St. Luke's Anglican Church. Interment to follow at Kirk Cemetery.
There will be a reception at the Northampton Rec Center following the interment.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Staff at Carleton Manor for the love and support over the last 2 ½ Years, also to the neighbors for always being there for Mary and the family.
