It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden death of Mary Doreen (MacDonald) McFadyen of Meductic on Tuesday January 27, 2026, at the age of 79.

Mary was born in Souris PEI on September 26,1946 to the late Francis and Adeline (Buote) MacDonald.

Mary is survived by her sons, Donald McCallum and Frank (Marie) MacFadyen, grandchildren, Daniel, Riley (Katie), Brandon, James and Sarah, great grandchildren Daniel and Blake, sisters Peggy, Judy, brothers, Frank, Dave, Bobby (Mary), Nieces and Nephews.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by son Danny, sisters Zilda, Susan and brother Billy, brother-in-law Desi.

Mary enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and doing her scratch tickets. Mary enjoyed her morning tea and quiet time. Mary loved her Elvis and George Jones music selections, but most of all she loved her family and friends and her dogs. She will be missed at the card table for sure.

There will be no visitation or funeral service, her ashes will be taken home to PEI.
