The death of Marjorie Pauline (Sharpe) Longstaff, Woodstock, NB wife of the late Earl Longstaff occurred at her residence on Wednesday June 21 at the age of 80. Marjorie was born in Maple Ridge, NB, on March 30, 1926. Marjorie is survived by step children: Dean Longstaff (Sandra), David Longstaff (Priscilla), Janet Paul (Darrell), Nancy Young (Fred), Connie Donnelly (Wade), Cindy Albright (Michael), several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sisters: Bertha Brown (Russell), Lyla Bear Tatlock, Mavis White (Robert Williams), brothers: Arthur Alward (Jesse), Carl Tatlock (Shirley), James Tatlock (Jean), one aunt Willa Rayner, two uncles: Eugene Sharpe, Arnold Sharpe, several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents and husband, Marjorie was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Mack and a step son Everett Longstaff. Visitation will be held from The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Friday June 23 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 24 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM with Rev. Ford Alward officiating. Interment will be held in the Upper Knoxford Cemetery.
