Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Elaine Bannister of Northampton NB at the Carleton Manor on March 15, 2023.

Marjorie worked many years at the Carleton Memorial Hospital and then the Upper River Valley Hospital. She enjoyed having family and friends around for meals, a coffee, game of cards, or just a chat. She loved her bingo and told many stories of "I just needed one more number to win'. Marjorie was a loving wife and mother, and these were the roles she cherished the most. She was predeceased by her one true love Arthur less than a year ago. Although she did the best she could to carry on for her family, it was time for her to go home to the Lord and her husband.

Marjorie is survived by her Son Allison (Emily) Bannister, Daughter Amy (Derrick) Norrad, Sister Marlene (Ken) Everett-Reid. Grandchildren, Ward, Dean, Caleb, Jonathan, Aaliyah, Malachi, Kelsey (John), Micky, Damon, and Greatgrandchildren Liam and Emmett.

Marjorie is predeceased by her parents Thomas (Barbara) Curtis, In-laws Harold (Ethel) Bannister Brothers-in-law, Joe, Johnny, Jimmy, George, Clarence, Sherman Everett, Robert Gray and Sisters-in-law Bernice Gray and Betty.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday Mat 27, 2023 at Pembroke Cemetery at 2PM with Steven Page and Celebration of Life  following at Northampton Rec Centre.

The family wishes to thank all the staff of the Carleton Manor. They have shown exceptional love and care for Marjorie during her brief time in residence.

Donations can be made in Marjorie's name to the Pembroke Cemetery or the Carleton Manor.
