Marion Margaret McLellan

1927-2011

Marion Margaret (Cluff) McLellan, 110 Charlotte St., Woodstock, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8 ^th , 2011, at the Upper River Valley Hospital.

Marion was born May 2, 1927 in Woodstock to the late W. Willard and Annie (Colwell) Cluff. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clifford and her eldest son, Jim.

She is survived by her daughters Ann (Sterling Shannon) and Shirley (Dale McBride), her sons John (Carol), Ron, and Richard (Lisa) and daughter-in-law Pat, and a special sister-in-law Muriel.

She is survived by 12 grandchildren, Lucy (Richard), Scott, Andrew (Stephanie), Susan (Dennis), Allison (Crystal), Michelle, Kelli, Lesley, Megan, Emily, Joshua, Laura (Scott), Darcey (Randy) and Carrie (Ken). She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Cameron, Caitlyn, Cole, Kaitlyn, Makayla, Brandon, Dylan, Sydney, Jordan, Quinn and several nieces and nephews.

She was a Past Matron, Secretary and 65 year member of the Victoria Chapter # 1 Order of the Eastern Star, a member of Saint James United Church and President of Unit 7. She was a member of the Richmond Corner Women's Institute, a member of the Rebecca Lodge # 44, an avid bridge player, and a loyal Blue Jays fan.

Since 1968, Marion has spent every summer surrounded by family at her much beloved cottage at Skiff Lake. A celebration honouring her life will be held later this summer at the family cottage.

Marion is now resting at the Carleton Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NB. Friends are welcome to call on Friday, February 11 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 12 ^th at 2 pm at Saint James United Church in Woodstock. Interment will take place at a later date in the Kirk Cemetery.

Honourary Pallbearers: Grandsons: Scott McLellan, Andrew McLellan, Allison McLellan and Joshua McLellan. Granddaughters: Megan McLellan and Emily McLellan.

Donations may be made to the Kirk Cemetery or the Woodstock W.I. Home.
