It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Marilyn Marie (Shaw) White of East Coldstream, who passed away on Saturday August 23, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.

Marilyn was born in Wakefield NB on May 22, 1951, to the late Ronald and Muriel (Boyer) Shaw.

She is survived by her husband Anzley (Alex) White, daughter Rhonda (Darren) Clark, son, Donald White, grandchildren, Ashten and Skyler, sister, Maida (Chris) Pryor, brothers, Raymond (Darlene) Shaw, Robert, Ross (Jennifer) Shaw, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her brother Ralph Shaw,  mother and father in-law Sandy and Shirley White, brother-in-law Lloyd White.

Marilyn was a proud member of the Skedaddle Ridge ATV Club and had a strong love for going on the wheeler with Alex and friends. Marilyn loved quilting and always was available to help the local ladies with the quilts. A hairdresser by trade, Marilyn knew everyone and always loved family gatherings and taking pictures and working with the family tree.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025, from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 5 to 8PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 29th at 2PM.

Interment will be held at Glassville United Cemetery following service.

Donations to the Glassville United Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
