It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Lillian Lawrence (Morris) of Lower Woodstock NB at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock on Saturday January 8, 2022 at the age of 91.
Marie was born on July 2, 1930 to the late Douglas A Morris and Edith ( Berbanzzani ) Morris in Boston Mass. USA.
Marie is survived by her children Debbie Vail, Andy Lawrence (Cindy) and Ellen Lawson (Colin). Grandchildren Stephen, Stephanie, Sarah, Jessica, Brittany and John, Great Grandchildren Oliver, and Spencer also several extended family members, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Marie was predeceased by her husband Basil Lawrence in 2020 and by sons in law, Harry London, Bobby Vail
Marie was the last surviving member of her siblings who all predeceased her. Brother, Douglas Morris, Step Siblings Robert, Richard, Jim, Juanita and Lillian.
Marie was brought to New Brunswick and joined the family of Charles and Minnie Monteith along with siblings Oliver, Harrison, Gerald, Ronald, Marion and Alice.
Marie will be remembered by her smile- handing out candy to everyone. She had a generous heart, so instead of flowers the family has requested that everyone do an act of kindness in Marie's memory.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 from the Carleton Funeral Home , 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB. - 6 to 8PM
Covid regulations must be followed, Proof of both vaccinations and ID must be shown, Masks must be worn and social distancing must be followed.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday January 12 at 2PM. Interment will be in the Lower Jacksonville Cemetery in the spring.
