Marian Rose McLean, 93, of Lindsay NB passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Marian was born in Long Eaton England on June 1, 1921 daughter of the late Archie and Rose (Fairbrother) Frearson.
Marion is survived by her children; Jewell Stanley (Fred), Bruce McLean (Linda), Robin McLean (Joanne), Randy McLean (Nancy), Jennifer McLean (Gordon Graham), Cameron McLean, Ian McLean (Aurelee), grandchildren, Duane, Michael, Holly, Jonathan, Heather, Christopher, Patrice, Andrew, Andrea, Justin, Jason, Rachel, Melody, Danielle, Gillian, Matthew, Luke, Nicholas, fourteen great grandchildren, sister, Brenda Wood, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Marian was predeceased by her husband, Howard, son, David, grandson, Baby Michael, great granddaughter, Shiyloh, brothers, Norman and Harold.
Marion contributed to the World War II effort by working in the British Land Army. She came from England as a war bride to raise her family. Her children were her life and her many grandchildren were loved by her.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Upper River Valley Hospital for the loving care given to our mother.
By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 11 AM from Saint Mark's Anglican Church Jackson Falls. Interment will be held at the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery Jackson Falls.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Camp Shiktehawk or to the Alzheimer's Society.
