Marguerite Bernice Carson, 88, of Woodstock, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born in Richmond, NB she is the daughter of the late Elwood and Amanda (Bates) Anderson.
Marguerite is survived by her husband Ralph, children Bev Myshrall (Jamie), Cathy Crandlemire (Brent), Brenda Adams, grandchildren, Jud DeLong (Jen), Jamie DeLong (Shelly), Becky Crain (John), Dusty Myshrall (Ashley), Kim Foster (Gerry), Dana Patterson (Nicole), Allison LePage (Andy), Troy Adams (Aleah), Trevor Adams (Kim), Caitlin Derrah (Devan), Kyle Crandlemire (Destinee), Tracy Carson, several great- grandchildren, sister, Violet Glidden (Cid), several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Marguerite is predeceased by her first husband, Glenn Black, daughter, Valerie Patterson, son Brian Carson, brothers, Ralph, Walter, Myles, and Gerald Anderson.
Marguerite was a special lady who enjoyed life especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She played an important role in everyone's lives, giving of her time and love. Music, dancing, traveling and gardening were among her favorite pastimes. Her smile and wit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday, May 10, from 6-9 PM with Funeral service being held on Friday May, 11, at 2:00 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Debra Baker officiating. Interment will be held in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Bloomfield Cemetery.
