It is with great sadness and love we say farewell to our beloved mother, Margaret Martha Wright. Margaret was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who passed away on May 9th, 2025 at the Waterville Hospital in Hartland, NB. Margaret was 88 years old at the time of her passing.

Margaret was born on April 12th, 1937 in Kintore, Victoria County, NB and was the daughter to the late Daniel and Mamie (McLean) Davenport.

Margaret is loving remembered by her children, Deborah (late Malcolm Watson), Louise (John Graham), Dana (Donna Hobson), Terry (Phil Drinkle), and Ann (late Jason Johnson), her sister, Inez and her brother, Floyd, her 11 grandchildren, her 18 great-grandchildren and her 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Olin Miles Wright, her sisters: Kathleen, Leitha, Anna, Gertrude, Edith, and Alta, her brothers: Daniel, Willis and Raymond.

Margaret who was also known as Nana, was a devoted cook, whose kitchen was always open to all and whose meals brought comfort, joy and warmth for all who entered her home. No one ever left her home hungry, and her table was always a place for connection and laughter. Her love for her family was immeasurable and she dedicated her life to caring for her loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 16th, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Carleton Funeral Home , 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Saturday May 17th, 2025 at 1 PM at Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Canterbury Community Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
