It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Malcolm William Louis Grant of Marne NB, who died at the Upper River Valley Hospital on April 29, 2026, at the age of 81.
Malcolm was born on May 9, 1945, in Woodstock to the late John and Evelyn (Chase) Grant.
Survived by his children, Amie Gairns, Karie- Lynn Grant, John Grant, Jamie (Amanda) Grant), Judson (Amy) Grant, grandchildren, Kieran, Jayda, Sadie, Isabelle, Grace, Marcus, Lucas, Lily, siblings Lois Crawford, Steven (Claudette), Brian (Rosalyn), Keith, and Terry (Judith )sister -in-laws Beatrice and Brenda as well as many Nieces and Nephews.
Mac was born and raised in Marne NB, he came from a big family, his passions included hunting, fishing, spending time in the outdoors with his kids. In his younger years, Mac did some flying. He worked at the St Anne Mill in Nackawic for 24 years and operated a successful outfitting lodge and wreath business.
Besides his parents, Macolm was predeceased by his son Josh Grant, brothers, John “Jack”, Robert, Lawrence, Winston and Weldon Grant.
Keeping with Macolm’s wishes there will be no public service or visitation.
