Obituary

The death of Malcolm Saunders Hunter of Riverbank occured on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Malcolm was born September 26, 1924 at Riverbank, the son of the late Hugh and Cora (Clark) Hunter.

Malcolm is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Kay; 2 sons, Terry Hunter (Suzanne) and Edwin Hunter (Rose); daughter Sheila Kelly (Arthur); brother Clarence Hunter (Jean); grandchildren, Billie McIntosh (Michael), Michael Kelly, Blake Kelly (Melinda), Andrea Crawford (Tyler), Joshua Hunter (Christina), and 7 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Dora Greene (Glen) and grandson, Ian Hunter.

Malcolm was a member of the Centreville Elks, former curler, avid curling fan, backyard and frontyard mechanic, gardener, hunter, fisherman, fiddleheader, storyteller, tormentor, and Blue Jays fan.

Resting at Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, where friends may call on Saturday, August 27 from 4-8 pm. Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 28, at 3 pm. from the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Glassville Anglican Cemetery.
