It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of Luke Andrew Bustard that occurred on October 1,2026.

Luke was the son of Wade & Donna Bustard of Debec NB, the brother of Rachel (Jesse Borgatti) of Nasonworth NB Robyn (Shawn Dickison) Teeds Mill NB. The Uncle of Miah, Ashlynn, Brandon (Jordan) Lexie and Kassie.

Grand son of Charlene Bustard, nephew of Perry (Susan), Rodney (Peggy), Blaine (Natalie), Natalie (Dale Currie), Linda (Steven Rose) George (Audrey Dickinson), Carol Arsenault, Sharon (Rick Cluff), Lori (Gary MacFarlane) several special cousins and Barn Family.

Luke was a special light of our lives. He took great pride in being a loving Uncle to his four nieces and one nephew. He was very well known in his community, especially at the local rinks, ball fields and racetrack.

He was often found in the winner’s circle with all the local horsemen. His love for harness racing was like no other and if you didn't know much about the sport, he was certainly going to teach you. Luke's favorite pass time was collecting Race programs, win pictures, stable clothing and hats.

Everyone knew if they got a win Luke was going to be looking for that picture.

Luke loved shopping with Mom rather it was grocery shopping, a trip to the mall looking for a new hockey shirt or searching for a new WWE magazine. Luke also loved amazon and ordering wrestling dvds and waiting for his delivery.

When he wasn't taking in a sports game or in the barn with his family Luke was taking road trips with Mom, Dad, Uncle G and Aunt Lori. They made their yearly trips to Quebec to watch his favorite horse’s race and to Saint Andrews to walk the streets and shop at local stores.

We as a family would like to send our sincere thank you to all the staff at URVH during Luke's stay. Supporting us through this difficult time and helping us in every way possible. A special thank you to the RT Department Jenn, Kelsey, Gina and Kelly for making every day/night great for him.

There will be no visiting and a private graveside service for immediate family on Friday October 9th, 2026 @2pm. There will be a public reception at the United Church Hall in Debec afterwards.
