It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden death of Lorne Burpee Home of Fosterville NB on Monday January 9, 2023, at his residence at the age of 81.

Lorne was born in Green Mountain NB on July 25, 1941, to the late Marchment and Francis (Griffiths) Home.

He is survived by his wife Sonya Koka (Boone), His son Kevin (Elaine) Home, Daughter Shelly Home, Stepdaughter Beverly Dawn Boone, Stepsons Joseph Koka, Jeff (Charis) Boone, Grandchildren Tylor (Miriah), Bradley (Misty), Zachary, Noah, Evan (Linda), Becca, Julius Koka, great grandchildren Jaxon and Cain, Sister in law Lorraine Home.

Besides his parents, Lorne was predeceased by a brother Stewart Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023, at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 4 to 8PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday January 15th at 2PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Lower Fosterville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice in memory of Lorne.
