The death of Lewis Clair Johnston of Woodstock NB occurred on Sunday July 17, 2005 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born in Newburg NB on September 7, 1944 to the late Edgar and Sadie (Frame) Johnston. Lewis is survived by brothers: Don (Betty), Trenton Ont, Ray (Mary) Porters, Lake NS, Gerald (Dianne), McKenna NB, Leo, Newburg NB, Richard (Gail), Whitby Ont, and several nieces and nephews. Lewis was predeceased by brother Eugene. Lewis trucked and worked for North American Van Lines in Oshawa until his retirement. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl O'Donnell officiating. Burial to follow in the Pembroke Cemetery. Pallbearers for Lewis will be: George Weeks, Ronnie Weeks, J Weeks, Fred Weeks, Freddie Weeks and Andy Weeks. As of expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
