In Loving Memory of Leslie Edison MacMaster

Leslie Edison MacMaster passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 92.

Born on April 22, 1934, Leslie lived a long life rooted in faith, family, and the simple pleasures of everyday living. A religious man throughout his life, he found comfort and purpose in his faith and was a devoted attendee of church.

Over the years, Leslie spent time working in the woods and peddling apples. He enjoyed a life that kept him connected to his community and to the people he met along the way.

One of the greatest blessings of Leslie’s life was finding his beloved wife, Lila. Though they found each other later in life, the two shared 31 years of marriage together, building a life filled with companionship, faith, and love. This was also when Leslie inherited a large extended family Thst has grown to include several grandchildren, more great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as one great great grand daughter. Their story is a reminder that it is never too late to find someone to walk beside you through life’s journey.

Those who knew Leslie will remember his bright, twinkling eyes, his boyish smile, and his playful ability to tease those he cared about. He had a warm presence that brought joy to others, and family and friends will cherish the many memories they shared with him. His passing marks the end of a long-life journey, and he will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Leslie is survived by his beloved wife, Lila; his stepchildren, Jennifer, Henry, Willis, Juanita, Marilyn, Lisa, and Richard; as well as his sisters, Carol, Patricia, and Dorene, and his brother, Willis.
