Leota Marie Grant, 70, of Newburg NB passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her residence. Leota was born in Woodstock NB on September 6, 1947 daughter of the late Percy and Anna Grant.

Leota is survived by her daughter, Angela Soucey, granddaughter, Heather Soucey, grandson, Austin Soucey, two great grandchildren, brother, Dale Grant (Fay), Ontario, sisters, E. Marilyn Fewer (Bill), Deerville, NB, Muriel Hamilton (Percy), Richmond Corner, NB, Mona Tompkins (Richard), Canterbury, NB, Eva Cullins (Terry), Woodstock, NB, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Leota was predeceased by a sister, Rena Grant Young (Alfred), brother, Percy Grant JR, nieces, Rhonda Brace and Sandra Grant.

By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be Potluck Reception at 4 PM at the Pembroke Hall on Saturday, July 7, 2018 followed by a graveside service and interment in the Pembroke Cemetery at 6:30 PM.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
