Obituary

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Lee Edward Bustard at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Thursday May 26, 2022 at the age of 72. Lee was born on November 14, 1949 in Woodstock to the late Noel and Lena (Clark) Bustard. Lee is survived by his wife of 49 years Pamela (Height) Bustard of Elmwood, his daughter Tawnya (George) McComb, grandchildren Liam and Olivia, Sister's Deborah Bustard, Cathy (Robert) Murphy, Valerie (Garnett) O'Donnell, Angela (Lee) Dow, Brother's Peter (Patricia) Bustard, Clark (Susan) Bustard, Aunt Vena Porter and Uncle Wayne Clark, Mother-in-Law Della Height, sisters-in-law Cindy Hopson, Roxanne (Harvey) Bell and Kim (Michelle) Height and Brother-in-Law Ronald (Kelly) Height. Besides his parents, Lee was also predeceased by a brother Allison Bustard and Father-in-law Malcolm Height. Lee being an avid outdoorsmen also drove school bus for 20 years and loved his students, he farmed for 25 years raising beef and then put up cattle feed to sell in the New England states. July 07, 2015 Lee suffered a devastating fall that would leave him a quadriplegic for life. After spending 18 months in hospitals and Stan Cassidy he was able to return home to be with his family and friends. Thankful to be back Lee showed courage and determination to stay home and fought many a battle throughout the course of his 5 years. He enjoyed many birthday celebrations and family gatherings with a big smile. Lee touched so many people with his courage, generosity and kindness to always live your life to the fullest no matter what. He will be greatly missed by everyone that came into his life and will live on in our hearts forever. There will not be a public visitation or funeral service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. There is a private family burial service being held on Thursday June 2, 2022 at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery in Kirkland. In keeping with Lee's love for the outdoors and nature , the family has requested donations in Lee's memory be made to the Meduxnekeag River Association or donors choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville Nb.
