It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Lawrence William Carpenter of Belleville NB on Thursday June 19, 2025, at Carleton Manor at the age of 91 with his brother and sister-in- law by his side.

Lawrence was born on June 2, 1934, to the late Guy and Mildred (Gartley) Carpenter

Lawrence is survived by his brother Ralph (Rosanne) Carpenter, his nephews Ricky (Lisa) Wilson, Greg (Cindy) Carpenter, Blaine Carpenter, Peter (Jennie) Carpenter and Mark (Niki) Carpenter, 8 great nieces and nephew, 6 great great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

Besides his parents Lawrence was predeceased by his sister Freda (Bill) Wilson and a special friend Yvonne Hartin.

Lawrence was born at home where he continued to live until he moved into Carleton Manor in January 2022. He started working for the CP Railroad until he went to work for the Province of New Brunswick as a tax assessor until he retired.

Resting at St Johns Anglican Church, 3671 Route 540, Richmond Corner, NB. Visitation will be on Sunday June 22, 2025, from 1-2:30 PM with Funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Maria Shepherdson. After the service the Intermit will be in the St Johns Anglican Cemetery with reception to follow at the church hall.
