It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurene Faye Shaw on August 17,2023 at the Carleton Manor at the age of 71.

Laurene was born on July 29, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Lewis and June Shaw.

She will be greatly missed by her sister Linda Shaw and nephew David Rumble (Katherine).

Laurene was a devoted Christian that loved reading books and spending time with her cats.

She was known as a kind and generous person, with a strong love for animals, history and art.

A visitation will be held at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Monday August 21, 2023, at 12PM, followed by a memorial service at 1PM.

Interment will take place Greenwood Cemetery Hartland,

Donations can be made to Carleton Manor in Laurene's memory if so desired.
