Reminder of Celebration of Life being held on Saturday March 16 at the Pembroke Hall from 1 to 4 PM

It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Laureen (Peters) Marie Sewell of Pembroke NB on Sunday February 25, 2024, at her residence.

Laureen was born on August 18, 1956, to the late Stanley and Etta (Brown) Peters in Woodstock NB.

She was predeceased by brothers Bev Brown, and Toby Peters Jr., Brother-in-laws, Ralph Sewell and Gerald Sewell.

Laureen is survived by her husband Lawrence Sewell, children, Cindy (Clayton) Stairs, Bedell, NB, Greg (Alicia) Sewell and Wendy Sewell Pembroke NB, grandchildren Evan, Bryden and Kiersten Sewell, sister-in-law s Joyce Sewell and Ethel Sewell and many nieces and nephews.

She was a hard worker who loved farming and her cats, but most of all her family, especially her grandchildren. She always was there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She had a heart of gold who loved God and relied on her faith to see her through whatever came her way. She was loved by all who knew her

There will not be a public visitation or funeral service at this time, A private family burial will be held in the spring at the Pembroke Cemetery

There will be a celebration of life held at the Pembroke Hall on Saturday March 16, 2024 from 1to 4 pm.

If so desired donations can be made to the Central Carleton Nursing home or the an animal shelter.
