It is with very sad hearts that we announce the passing of Joesphina Henderiika Theadora (Joke) Meijer May 10, 2023.

Better known as Joke (Yoki),

She was born in Holland on December 17, 1939, after starting a family with her beloved Tom and moving to Canada, She lived her life as a wife, mother, Oma and great grandmother to both her family and close friends.

Joke is survived by her husband of 67 years Tom Meijer, a few siblings back in Holland, son Rick Meijer, special grandson Scott Black, and grandchildren Courtney and Tyler Meijer, great grandchildren Owen and Eian Black.

By request a private family visitation and graveside service will be held in the coming days,
