Frank LeMaitre

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Georges Franklin “Frank “LeMaitre of Waterville on Sunday August 2, 2026, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 71.

Frank was born on May 9, 1955, in Campbellton NB to the late George and Lydia (Leblanc) LeMaitre.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Estabrook-LeMaitre, daughters, Ashley (Quinton), Sonya, sons, Franklin (Stacy), James Robert, grandchildren, Austin (Elena), Chloe and Cayden, Jordan, Patrick, Hillary, sisters, Jackie (Ben) Raccine, Trish Leblanc, Carelyn (Morris) Carrier, Lila LeMaitre (Derick Arsenault), Gerry (Denis) Audet, Claudia (Valmont) Leblanc, brothers, Ralph (Donna) LeMaitre, Kirk LeMaitre, brother/nephew Jonathan LeMaitre, several, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides his parents George and Lydia, Frank was predeceased by a grandson Lincoln MacKenzie and sister Dale.

Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing, he always looked forward to attending the demo derbies. Frank had a great love for classic cars and loved attending the shows.

The family would like to thank the paramedics, doctors and staff of the oncology departments and Upper River Valley Hospital and also the DECH Fredericton for their compassion and care of Frank.

Keeping with Frank’s wishes there will not be a visitation or funeral service, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
