John Malcolm Whiteway, 80, of Woodstock NB passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at his residence. John was born in Brooklyn PEI on May 17, 1935 son of the late Robert and Annie (MacPherson) Whiteway.

John is survived by his son; Andrew Whiteway (Marissa), grandchildren, Camryn, Connor, sister, Catherine, brother, Alexander (Lillian), nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his wife Beverly (Cox) Whiteway, sister, Linda and a brother, David.

By request there will be no visitation. The family will gather in the lower portion of the Elks Club for a celebration of John Whiteway's life, on Saturday August 15, 2015, from 3 PM to 5 PM. Parking will be available on the Water Street side.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the CNIB or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
