It is with sadness we announce the passing of John Allison VanDine, 86, of Woodstock, NB, on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Carlton Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. John was born in Belleville, NB, on January 2, 1920, son the late Dow and Estella (Grass) VanDine. John is survived by his wife Gladys (Brown), Woodstock, Daughter; Linda (Bernie) Goguen, Upper Kingsclear, six sons: Allan (Carolyn), Red Bridge, Arthur (Maude), Northampton, Jerry (Gwen), Prince William, Charles (Cathy), Mazerolle Settlement, Carl (Kim), Bulls Creek, Robert (Margaret), Woodstock, three step daughter: Lynda (Robert) O' Regan, Jacksonville, Gloria (George) Chase, Medutic, Carol Mc Laughlin, Connecticut, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one sister: Nina (Lebert) Fowler, Zephyrhills, Florida, several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, John was predeceased by his first wife Phyllis (Glass) in 1942 and second wife Lena (Leighton) in 1992, a sister Doris Bell, brother in law Frank Bell. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Ven. Walter Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
