It is with much sadness that we announce the death of John Emery Shannon on Tuesday October 10, 2023, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Perth at the age of 81.

John was born in Greenfield on April 26, 1942, to the late John and Carmen (White) Shannon.

He is survived by his son Gregory (Tina) , grand children Tracey, April and Ryan, several great grandchildren, sisters Mona Lavine and Willa Rickard as well as several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his wife Jeannete (Roberts) son Jeff Shannon and sisters Pearl, Phyllis, Shirley and Barbara.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday at 3PM from the Greenfield Cemetery, reception will be held at the Florenceville Legion following.
