It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ray McElroy of Woodstock on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 67.

John was born in Woodstock, NB on September 27, 1957, to the late Robert and Stella (McNeil) McElroy. John is survived by his daughter Stephanie of Woodstock, NB, son John Ray (Jr) (Erin) of Greenwood NS.

Grandchildren, Brayden, Chelsea, Mason, Malika, Maddison, Mya, Zoe, Wyatt, Declan, Grady

Brothers, Reg (Linda), David (Carol), sisters, Sue (Phil), Shirley (Rick), Peggy, Debbie, Kelly (John), sister-in-law Linda. Several nieces and nephews,

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his son Robert, brother Lloyd and nephews Randy and Mark.

A graveside service will held on Tuesday August 5, 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery at 1PM
