John Peter Gunning, 56, died Saturday July 1, 2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, NB. Peter was born in Hartland, NB, September 14, 1949, son of the late Charlie and Dolina (Connell) Gunning. Surviving is his daughter Cheryl Innes (Peter), Newburg, NB, son David Gunning (Lisa), Newburg, NB, grandchildren: Nikki Innes, Kali Innes, Chloe Innes, Jordan Gunning, Kirstie Gunning, mother Dolina Gunning, Woodstock, NB, sisters; Eva Cumming (Jimmy), Elizabeth Moorecraft (Alton), Marilyn Sprague (Roger) , several nieces and nephew. Peter was predeceased by his father Charlie. Visitation will be held from The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Sunday July 2, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Monday July 3 at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Fred Snyder officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
