Obituary

John Alfred Bears, 80, of Kirkland NB passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence. John was born in Sherbrooke NS son of the late Alfred and Gertrude Bears.

John is survived by his partner of 50 years Shirley Robertson, sister, Margaret Slauenwhite, BC, brother, Gordon Bears, Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 5 PM to 7 PM. Interment will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the DunRoamin Stray and Rescue.
