It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Elizabeth Dole (Gibson) of Woodstock, on Tuesday March 5, 2024, at the DEC Hospital in Fredericton, at the age of 80.

Jeanne was born in Woodstock NB on March 1, 1944, to the late Perley and Edith (Purvis) Gibson.

Besides her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Gary Dole in 2011.

Jeanne is survived by her son Bill Dole (Karen) of Kingsclear NB,

By request there will be no public visitation or funeral service.

She will be missed by special friends Susan and Paul Melanson and Brenda Brown. Her love for fiddle heading took her to every corner of the Meduxnekeg River and back, even in it once when Bill dumped her out of the boat. She was always up for a drive and when fall rolled around look out woods she was hunting. Her love for nature kept her young at heart and she could tell you so many stories about back in the day on the Farm with Gary.
