Jean Marie Murray, wife of the late Owen Murray, passed away peacefully at the Carleton Manor on August 5, 2010. Jean was born in Bellville, Carleton County, to the late Thomas and Mary (McLellan) Bell. Jean was an office clerk at Stedman's for many years. She is survived by: her children Debbie and Todd, both of Woodstock; her brothers Adrian (Marjorie) of Woodstock, and Murray of Burlington, ON; her sister Hildred Thornton of Oshawa, ON; and several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her sisters Rowena White and Geraldine MacDonald. The family will welcome visitors at the Carleton Funeral Home on Sunday August 8, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 9 at 11:00 am. Celebrant will be Fr. Bill Brennan and interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
