The death of Jean Pearl (Miller) McConnell wife of the late Alvah McConnell of Woodstock, NB occurred on Wednesday January 18, 2006 at the Carleton Manor Woodstock, NB at the age of 79. Born in Detroit, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Les and Iva (Haynes) Miller. Jean is survived by sons: Keith, Centerville, NB, (Special friend Valerie Shaw, Rosedale, NB), Brian, Waterville, NB, grandchildren: Cherie McConnell, Woodstock, NB, Stephanie Ross, Moncton, NB, Tony McConnell, Millville, NB, great grandchildren: Taylor McConnell, Nicholas McConnell, Alex McConnell, Ashten Noel, brothers: Vaughan, Larry, Ray, sisters: Idella Thomas, Muriel Bubar, Velma Wanlin, Step mother Margaret Miller and several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by husband, parents, and a brother Leo Miller.
Visitation will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday January 19 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Friday January 20 at 2PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan London officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Waterville Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
