It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Elaine (Monteith) Clark on April 18th, 2026, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 70.

Janet was born in Woodstock on October 23, 1955, to the late Earl and Margaret Monteith of Northampton.

Janet is survived by her Fiancé David Lane, siblings, David Monteith. William (Heidi), Stuart Monteith and sister Marilyn Comeau as well as many cousins, she will also be missed by her family at Lansdowne Special Care Home where she lived for the last 3 years.

She loved chatting with the other residents, and staff, always smiling and happy. She loved watching baseball; Toronto Blue Jays was her favorite team. She enjoyed doing puzzles, coloring and watching game shows.

A graveside service will be held on Friday May 1, 2026, at the Kirk Cemetery in Northampton at 3PM.
