Jim was a devoted son, brother, husband, dad, grandfather, and uncle. He was proud of each of his kids and grandkids. He cared for and loved all his family very much. He was a lifelong horseman- training Standardbred racehorses in his younger years and then raising American Quarter Horses and timed the Standardbred races at Woodstock's racetrack. He was a staple in the local horse community. He volunteered his time with local horse clubs and minor baseball. He was a Toronto Blue Jays fan and enjoyed watching them play on TV. He worked most of his life for the Town of Woodstock Public Works department- upkeeping the arena and maintaining roadways in town. Everyone could count on him to lend a helping hand or advice when you needed it, along with being kind-hearted to those who needed a friend. We all love and miss you very much.
