Obituary

James (Jimmy) Patterson passed away January22, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Jimmy was born in Pembroke, NB December 7, 1939 son of the late Douglas and Mary (McGuire) Patterson.

Survived by his wife Lynn (Carmichael) Patterson, Sons Randy (Tanya) Patterson, Richard (Emilie) Patterson. Grandchildren Emily, Adam, Madeleine, Evangeline, Graedon, Genevieve Patterson.

Brothers, Mike (Audrey) Patterson, Lewis (Esther) Patterson, Keith (Rose) Patterson, sister, Linda Gallagher, brothers-in-law and sisters-in law, Frank & Vi Carmichael, Blane & Charleen Gould, several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Vi Patterson,niece Juanita Patterson, Brother Richard Patterson, Sister Judy McKay, brother-in-law Pat Gallagher, brother-in -law and sister-in-law Ron and Joyce Welton .

Jimmy was active in the community; you could often find him cooking breakfast at the Pembroke Hall or serving on several Church Committees. He was a Life Member of The Knights of Columbus, drove the school bus for 27 years, and received a recognition award from the town of Woodstock for his dedication for driving the wheelchair bus and much more.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 5, 2021 at St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church at 11 AM.

Service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com\st.g.church.1

Interment will follow at St Joseph Cemetery, Newburg.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Joseph Cemetery Association or The River Valley Cancer Support Group.
