It is with much sadness that we announce the death of James Burton Duffield of Woodstock on Friday June 9, 2023, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 78.

James was born in Petitcodiac NB on August 18, 1944, To the late John and Patricia (Foren) Duffield.

James is survived by his wife Irene (Cote) Duffield, Daughter Tanya Godin (George) and Son Darcy Mazerolle (Jennifer Cope), grandchildren Micailey and Cierrah, Brother Barrie Duffield, Nieces Thelma and Kimberly.

Jim was a veteran with Air Force for 10 years, Jim joined the RCMP J Division as head of communication for 911, Jim was an avid golfer and spent many winters in Texas. He also enjoyed fishing with his brother Barrie.

By request there will not be a public visitation or funeral service.

If so desired, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
