It is with much sadness that we announce the death of H. David Sherwood at his residence in Bathurst, NB, Tuesday, December 24, 2024. David was formerly of Hartland. He was 61 years of age.

David was born in Woodstock, NB, on June 25, 1963, to the late Henry D. Sherwood and Sherrill I. Kinney, and grew up in Jacksontown. He spent several years working in Alberta before returning to New Brunswick.

David is survived by his sisters Katherine Proctor (Alan) of Innisfail, Alberta and Kelly Blakeney (Gordon) of Weston, NB, niece Rebecca, nephews Westland, Daniel, Dean & David, several great nieces & nephews as well as many, many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 1-2PM.

Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2PM. Internment will be held at a later date in the Jacksontown Cemetery.

If so desired, donations can be made to Jacksontown Cemetery, NB Mental Health or Atlantic Missons.

A reception will follow the service at the Jacksonville Baptist Church.
