Henry Forrest Grant

It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Henry Forrest Grant of Southampton NB on Saturday September 26, 2026, at his residence at the age of 78.

Henry was born in Woodstock on March 18,1948 to the late Forrest and Della Grant.

He is survived by his son Randall (Allison) Grant, grandchildren, Hudson, Weston, and Abigail Grant, sisters, Hilda Grant (Brian), Margaret Wright (Junior), Sharon Drost, brothers, Curtis Grant, George Grant (Donna), Walter Grant (Connie), Roy Grant (Cheryl), several Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Besides his parents, Henry was predeceased by his wife Sally and brother Wayne Grant and his boy Turbo.

A dedicated worker and true outdoorsman at heart, he spent 34 and a half years at the mill, doing what he loved every day while operating heavy equipment. Beyond his career, his greatest happiness came from simple, meaningful moments: cutting his own firewood, nurturing his garden—which was his absolute pride and joy—and cherishing every memory made with his beloved grandchildren. He found deep peace in nature and loved hunting, a lifelong passion capped off by one last unforgettable highlight: getting to see the moose Randall shot this year, a moment that truly made his day and brought a huge smile to his face.

In keeping his Henry’s wishes there will not be any public visitation or funeral service.

A private interment will be held at the Lenentine Cemtery.
